Abbot Park Farm rests across 120 acres of a family-run farm. It hosts large camping fields for tents to pitch up with excellent views across fields and fells. Additionally, there are two camping barns. These barns are fitted with their own bathrooms as well as a log fire stove and dining furniture. They are an excellent choice for people who want to camp in comfort. As well as camping, Abbot Park Farm also has its own café. Here, guests can eat delicious food made with produce from the farm itself. Further to this, visitors can get stuck in on farm living and explore the local surroundings. The farm hosts many animals for visitors to see, such as chickens, horses, sheep and ducks.
Abbot Park Farm is situated in Ulverston. There are many hiking and walking trails within a close distance of the site making it perfect for walkers. Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are only a short distance away where many water activities are available to take part in. Additionally, there are several historical sights and museums to explore, such as The World of Beatrix Potter and the Lakeland Motor Museum. The camping field terrain is uneven and grassy in several places. The farm has retained a natural landscape making it difficult to traverse if you require a mobility aid. Additionally, there are steep slopes towards on-site facilities.
