Situated within Millburngate shopping centre. Biz-R Coffee House serves homemade cakes and scones with a view of the cathedral and river walk. There is two floors and a backroom separated by two steps up. There is always music playing at a low level in the background. I tend to enjoy the French and jazz music that they play.
In addition, both floors are decorated in dark wood furnishings and there are a range of pictures on the walls. Furthermore, there is outdoor seating areas. One close to the wall aligning the river walk and one just on the right of the door as you walk into the café. In addition, the outdoor seats and tables are a light brown with black metal frames. The seating area is marked out with enclosures. Not to mention, these enclosures create, especially for me, a feeling of privacy. Almost like it is a little oasis of company just for you and any accompaniment. Why don’t you see what this place has in store for you?

Unfortunately, there are three steps leading into the café as well as into the back room. There is handrails for both set of steps. Unfortunately, those in wheelchairs or with a pushchair would still struggle.. The lighting is bright which can be irritating for some. Furthermore, the floors are one colour apart from the steps themselves. This may make those with dementia feel more comfortable as some patterned flooring can make them feel disorientated or sick.
