Burns Farm Caravan, Camping and Glamping is a working farm campsite just a mile from the village of Threlkeld and 3 miles from Keswick. The site offers a range of hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups and seating areas, traditional camping fields, 5 luxury bell tents and a selection of cabins. There are three camping fields that offer surrounding views of neighbouring mountains such as Blencathra, Skiddaw and Causey Pike. The low-watt lighting allows for fantastic star-gazing and night sky views next to a cosy campfire. Furthermore, Burns Farm offers luxury cabins that come with their own seating area and private hot tubs. As well as a modern, under floor heated shower block, there are bookable private wet-rooms for added privacy. Additionally, they are adding a shop for guests to shop local products.
Several trails run through and around Burns Farm. This makes it an ideal location for eager hikers and walkers. Closely located to Ullswater and Derwent Water, there are plenty of opportunities for water activities, canoeing, and a ride on the Ullswater steamers. Similarly, the village of Threlkeld is only a short walk away. Keswick is a popular tourist location with many shops and cafés.
