Chill Factore is home to an indoor skiing slope in Manchester with real snow! This is truly perfect for all of the family and offers fantastic help with any needs you may have. Chill Factore allows for a fun day out for all of the family whether this be skiing, snowboarding, lessons or even sledging! With so many options there truly is something for everyone.

Options for coming here include:

  • Hourly slope lift passes this is perfect if you already know how to Skii. The pass allows you onto the slopes and all of the necessary equipment. Equipment included is boots, skis and poles, a snowboard, and a helmet.
  • Skii/Snowboarding lessons
    Lessons are offered to all that is needed to learn the slopes and are available for all ages and abilities! Lessons offered range from beginners to training and coaching!
  • Snow fun!
    Snow fun includes an ice slide, downhill donuts and sledging! The minimum age here is 4, anyone under the age of 12 must also be accompanied by an adult. An amazing day out for all ages.a picture of a pizza (Release your inner child!)

Chill factore is also home to a lodge bar and kitchen! The food offered ranges from ‘The Lodge breakfast’ before 11:30 am to a range of burgers, pizzas and varying meals in the afternoon. There are many options for people who are vegan or gluten-free.

Getting there

By Car – Chill factore is signposted from the motorway exit! There are 300 onsite free car park spaces offered including disabled parking bats. (It is recommended to use M17 8DD when inserting the postcode into the satnav)

By Bus – The Trafford centre bus station is just over 10 minute walk away which provides many bus routes around Manchester!

By Train – Manchester Piccadilly train station provides many links across the UK due to being in central Manchester. A taxi from the station costs around £15. Further information can be found here.

Accessibility

Chill Factore is home to Disability Snowsport UK who are expert in adaptive snowsport. Therefore, Chill Factore can accommodate most people with limited mobility. Before arrival contact Disability Snowsport UK at 01479 788 770 or email lessons@disabilitysnowsport.org.uk to talk about your needs.

At Chill Factore everyone is treated on an individual basis so let them know exactly what you need!

When getting into Chill Factore the entrance is levelled concrete with automatic doors. At the help desk, there is also a lowered counter. Wheelchairs can also be taken on loan. Large print information can also be provided on request.

Most of the attraction is on the ground floor except for the Restaurant and Bar which can be accessed by a lift or stairs.

Yes! Each toilet block has at least one accessible toilet. With an adjustable bench and a wall-mounted hoist.
