Chrysalis

Chrysalis provides support to adults with learning conditions in Cumbria. With over thirty years of experience, their organisation supports over 80 adults. Chrysalis provides social and household support, running a range of sporting and entertainment events whilst also pr0viding life skills support and work experience. People can be referred from official channels or through private payment. Their outreach programs are very popular with the people they support. This includes Chrysalis Wholefoods Shop where people they support can work and gain qualifications that they can take onwards in their life.

They aim to make things as accessible as possible for the people they support and build their programs around your needs and desires. Therefore, they are an easily accessible service for the people they support and prioritise their needs above all else.

Chrysalis Wholefoods Shop is found in the centre of Wigton and is accessible for customers and individuals working there. Additionally, they have other properties across Cumbria, including Carlisle’s Westmoor Premises that provides specialist support. This facility is also fully accessible.
