An urban beach, you will find this on the south side of Roker Pier. There is a small, sandy beach which is enclosed by the sea wall of the harbour and the pier, where you can take a walk along to spot the distinctive lighthouse. Along the promenade you will find cafes and fish and chip shops. Parking is available by the beach.
