Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall and Café:

Here you can explore a range of cooked meats, sausages, pies and more! Their hot counter is very popular with locals, selling a range of buttys and sandwiches. The ‘Cranstons Big Foot Cumberland Baguette’ is one of their most popular creations available. Like all other Cranstons locations, the Food Hall also sells a large variety of salads, baked goods, chutneys, jams, and fresh veg. There is also a deli counter.

Customers can freely explore an amazing selection of northern brands and know that they are supporting local industry and getting some of the finest produce in return. One of their partners even has a counter in house; Fyne Fish Fishmongers sell a selection of fresh fish and weekly sushi boxes. Fyne Fish Fishmongers are a family business and get on wonderfully with the Cranstons team.

Located just off the M6, Junction 40, Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall and Café like to consider themselves a great alternative to a motorway service station. Additionally, families travelling to Centre Parcs can stop off and stock up ahead of their holiday.

As one of their most popular locations, the Penrith Food Hall also hosts Café Oswald’s! They serve a brunch style menu. Using ingredients straight from the Cranstons shelves, customers can enjoy tasty delights from a coffee and traybake, to a hearty full English breakfast. Café Oswald’s is open year round and is ideal for a stop off and shop.


Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall and Café has level access throughout and is suitable for wheelchairs. There also is lift access to the upper floor and café. The café is a reasonable size and there is space to make way for wheelchair users dining in.
