With their dedicated team of staff, they control production from the farm to the counter. They have a selection of shops across Cumbria that sell their award-winning range of sausages, pies, meats, salads and sandwiches to a large crowd of dedicated customers. Cranstons proudly work with many local farms to create their produce. Additionally, their food halls stock fresh vegetables, cakes, ales, chutney and more from many popular local businesses.
Their food halls are incredibly popular locations where customers can find nearly everything they would need from their local butcher. Cranstons Food Hall at Orton Grange comes with deli counters serving customers’ favourites meat cuts, sausages and pies. They also sell a selection of cheeses, cooked meats and salads. The rest of the shop floor is dedicated to fresh vegetables and the produce of their local partners. Here, customers can explore a range of traybakes and puddings, freshly baked goods, as well as delicious chutneys and jams.
Orton Grange is incredibly welcoming and their team of staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality produce, freshly made on site. They are constantly working to improve their range and are always happy to answer questions and make suggestions.
Furthermore, Orton Grange Food Hall flows through into Orton Grange Café & Gifts. In there, visitors can enjoy a cost gift shop of delightful gifts and decorations. The café is very popular and provide tasty lunches, coffees and sweet treats in their barn house location. On the same site are The Loft Beauty Rooms, and The Shearing Shed, Hair Salon. Conveniently Located on the A595 between Wigton and Carlisle, Orton Grange is a great location for purchasing high quality produce in a leisurely manner.
Cranstons at Orton Grange has completely level access and is on only one floor. The aisles are spacious enough for manoeuvrability but can get tight when the shop is busy.
The lighting is quite bright and there are many smells due to the nature of the butchers shop. While it is broadly quite quiet, some noise is generated by the machinery staff use.
There is a large car park outside. Disabled parking is available. Around half of the car park is on gravel ground and the overflow car park is in a field. However, there is car parking on smooth tarmac.
