Dog and Scone Café is a where you enjoy delicious cakes, coffees and teas while in company of the resident dogs.
What types of dogs are there?
Firstly the dogs may change as they age. Along with new ones get introduced so keep up to date with [link] but at the moment their are:
- Momo – Toy poodle (oldest dog in café)
- Pickle – Pekingese (newest to the café)
- Yuki – teacup Yorkshire terrier (shyest at the café)
- Shadow – long haired chihuahua (best friends with Teddy)
- Teddy – Pomeranian (youngest dog in café and friends with shadow)
- Sugar -Teacup Pomeranian (loves cuddles)
- Noodle – longhaired mini dachshund (SAUSAGE DOG)
Information you need to know before visiting
First and foremost there is a entry fee of £6 per person per 55 minutes. The entry fee is to make sure the dogs can be looked after. Booking online to make sure you have a space however you will be charged £2 deposit for the entry fee and once you arrive will have to pay £4.
Children need to be over 135cm or photographic ID to prove they are ages 11+. The reason for this is their insurance policy. They do measure every child at the door and can deny entry at door as the café is not suitable for any child under the requirements.
Also for insurance you are not allowed to bring your own dogs as it’s not insured. If you are not able to arrive you can phone 0191 366 0025 (no Facebook or messages) 24 hours in advance for full refund. Furthermore you are running late you can phone them and they are able to hold your table for 10 minutes after that they will offer it to other customers.
