The Dunstanburgh Castle was built in second decade of the 14th century. The castle was built by Thomas, Earl of Lancaster who was one of the wealthiest nobles in England. It was also modernised in the 1980s under John of Gaunt.
There are a few different things to do such as:
To get to the castle is a 1.5mile walk from the little town of Craster. There is a listing for Craster beach that you can view with [link]
