Compact and full of life is how one would describe the Durham Dramatic Society and their premise. Located in Durham they’re delightful activties are held in an incredibly old building. Surprisingly, the building is tucked away behind Durham’s indoor market. There are a variety of performances to suit a variety of tastes. Furthermore, ice cream and drinks are available in the breaks. They welcome everyone, even those with extraordinarily little experience. Not to mention, rehearsals are three times a week. So why not seek entertainment there the next time you happen to be in Durham.

Accessibility at Durham Dramatic Society

Unfortunately, the building is not accessible to those who are in a wheelchair. Even taking a pram in will be difficult. This is because the building has many steps inside. There is a ramp up into the building itself though. In addition, they have an accessible toilet. Some of the steps do have highlights to them making them a bit easier to see, but not as accessible still. Furthermore, staff are happy to give support whenever they can do so.
