Fisherground Campsite is a highly popular tent and caravan park in the vicinity of Scafell Pike. With over 180 grass and electric hook-up pitches, there’s no shortage of space to spread out and make the most of the views. There are many local wild swimming spots, streams and walks to enjoy. On the site itself, visitors can take advantage of a range of washing and laundry facilities. For children, there is an expansive adventure playground, tree house and even rafts on the lake! The site welcomes walkers, families and couples throughout the season.
A pub can be found a 10-minute walk away from Fisherground Campsite. Similarly, Eskdale Green is a ten-minute drive from the site and provides supplies from its village shop. Scafell Pike and Wastwater Lake are only short journeys away and provide a range of exploration opportunities from hiking to water sports. Muncaster Castle and Ravenglass Roman Baths are also very close by by car. An incredibly scenic part of the world, there is no shortage of places to explore. The area is very popular with dedicated walkers and families looking to embrace the natural world.

The grass patches can be rough and uneven. However, the site is broadly level with no obvious slopes. Similarly, the road around the site is flat though it is coated in gravel.
