This entertainment venue is a collection of puzzle based activities, including escape rooms, hosted by the Light in Leeds City Centre. Furthermore, It is a great activity for groups, as each member has a chance to contribute to the complex puzzles posed in the games. Additionally, up to 6 people can play in one escape room, making it great for family and friend groups alike!

Escape Hunt Leeds have a variety of puzzle based activities to book. A diverse range of escape rooms in indoor settings offer themes from Doctor Who to seafaring pirates. In addition, outdoor games are available, where groups of up to 4 are given an iPad and instructions and must travel around the city to solve the puzzle. Finally, at home games are on offer that have players print off sheets to play the game within the comfort of their own home!

Accessibility

Making the games as accessible as possible is one of Escape Hunt Leeds’ main priorities. For example, blind, visually impaired or deaf individuals are able to play the Doctor Who: Worlds Collide escape room. Moreover, 24 disabled parking spaces are available in The Light’s car park for easy parking.

The escape rooms can be opened at any time by staff in case of emergency. Also, security cameras are in all of the rooms allowing staff to respond to any potential emergencies quickly.

How to get there

Being in The Light within the city centre, you can easily find Escape Hunt Leeds by bus and car alike. For cars, the Q-Park at The Light offers 402 spaces and 24 disabled spaces. Furthermore, if you are a disabled individual travelling by bus, the first bus app is recommended as it tells you if the wheelchair space is free on a bus.

 

Q How many people can take part in an escape room?

Anywhere between 2 to 6 players inclusive can take part in the same escape room, with it being cheaper per person if there are more than 4 players. The more the merrier!

Q How much do escape rooms cost?

It is £25 per person for groups of 2-3 players, and £20 per person for those of 4-6 players.
Discounts are offered for students and over 60s, more details can be found on Escape Hunt Leeds' website.

Q is there a minumum age requirement?

The games are designed to be PG, so children 8 and above are able to participate.
Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Q Can whose using a wheelchair access the games?

Many of the escape rooms are accessible by wheelchair, and the outdoor games also.

Q Can the games be accessed by those with conditions such as epilepsy?

Some games to make use of strobe lights and fog effects, it is advised that you contact Escape Hunt Leeds and ask about the game you have in mind before booking.
