Headlam hall is a hotel, spa and golf course. Headlam is a small village in lower Teasdale.
In 1606 Headlam hall was built. About 1804 to 1831 it became a boys school called Chapmans Academy. It was purchased by John and Ann Robinson in 1977. At the time of purchase it was in a disarray and had leaking roof and a overgrown garden. As the garden was so overgrown that it gave 57 bales of hay on its first cut.
There are many different things to do from a relaxing day at the spa to having a workout. You also can choose from 9 types of rooms, if you’d like to make a booking. The rooms are as followed: The Hideaway, Coach House Room, Mews Room, Spa Rooms, Spa Balcony Rooms, Main Hall Rooms, Main Hall Deluxe, Junior Suites and the Premier Suites.
The gardens are set over four acres of land, these gardens are not just for enjoyment part of the hardens produce herbs, fruit and vegetables that are used in the hotels kitchens. The garden also include activities such as a hard tennis court and summer croquet lawn. There is also a lot of peaceful open area where you can enjoy a relaxing stroll.
