Hexham Abbey is a place of gatherings and prayers and was built 674 AD for the Benedictine Order. The main purpose of the abbey was for traditional studying and that of copying the scriptures.

You are able to hire out functional rooms and conference venues for many different purposes such as a dinner and can find out more about that here.
