This small woodland area is quite newly founded, but is home to a variety of wildlife. You can take a stroll through the maturing woods by the beck, and if you take a picnic you will find picnic tables to use. The paths are not surfaced so take wellies if it has been wet! There is no designated disabled parking and because the paths are in their natural state, it may not be suitable for those who use wheelchairs, however recently work was undertaken to widen footpaths and improve access to the gates. Located between Stillington, Thorpe Thewles, Redmarshall and Carlton, this wood is part of a beautiful spot in rural north Stockton.
