What they are about
Include ‘In’ Autism works hard to support people. And as part of this, they work from a set of values to meet all needs. Some of these values include:
Not only this but the service values, respects and promotes the diversity of the communities that it works within. They help to do this by providing people with the relevant support through their many links. For example, the website has great resources on its website about autism. Click here to check them out!
What they do
Include ‘In’ Autism offers lots of different support. This support includes early intervention, crisis prevention and outreach programmes.
The service works with people experiencing problems, such as young offenders and people who need adult support. Due to their work, the service has helped to prevent unnecessary police intervention. It has also helped to prevent hospital detainment under the Mental Health Act.
The support includes but is not limited to:
- Support for families
- Help managing money
- Support in gaining in new skills
- Launchpad Pathway
- Staff acting as advocates for those awaiting a diagnosis
Include ‘In’ Autism makes sure to not speak for people but only with them.

Not only this but Include ‘In’ Autism also runs Launchpad Pathway. This support service helps autistic people lead more independent lives. The service achieves this by providing people with a clear process of how to transition into adult life.
