Upon walking into the influence cafe in Darlington I never expected my home cooking to be influenced. I chose to eat a dish I wouldn’t normally make for myself at home and this vegan meal was so yummy. Not to mention, I had decided to try and replicate it at home. However, why replicate it when you could just visit this stylish café. Moreover, situated dead close to the dolphin centre it is a lovely place to come and watch the world go by after a work out session. The windows are painted white and have individual small square panes of glass to look through. The windows and ceiling are tall making me feel like I am sitting in a posh affluent environment.
However, the food prices at the time of writing this review are good in consideration of the foods quality. in addition, the staff where very friendly and attentive. The tea served is loose leaf tea and the cake slices available are massive and decorated. My boyfriend felt that the dark chocolate topping the millionaire short bread was unique and very tasty. The portion sizes of the main menu is good and filling.
Upon arrival to the café the pavement is fairly wide but there are two boards close to the door and a small step up into the building. There is no disabled toilets in the influence cafe. However, the staff are happy to guide anyone who needs this support to the toilets located at the top level for the café. There are high chairs available for those with children. Whilst popular their quieter tmes are between -11am and after 4pm. 9Although the ladies are not trained for those with any neurological difficulties They are willing to help when ever they can.
Furthermore, the influence café has three levels. The toilet and kitchen are at the top. The second level is decorated with a flowery carpet. Aloag with a selection of pictures on the walls. However, the first floor was decorated with a light wood floor, dark wood furnishings with glass topping the tables and few pictures.. The first floor feels spacious and stylish. Whilst the second level feels more cosy and fun. Their cake display is annoyingly inviting for those on diet. There is a large selection of options that anyone can choose from. Wo why don’t you and a friend treat yourself to a meal at the influence café.
