Kersal Wetlands is a new outdoor space. It was created as part of a flood protection scheme and created new habit from birds, wildlife and other nature.
It is perfect for dog walkers, cyclists, runners, walkers with a network of footpaths, some of which are accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Make sure you are dressed for the weather as it is very exposed.
It does, however, offer great views of the skyline of Manchester and the River Irwell.
