The idyllic scenery is peaceful and full of wildlife. The Lancaster Canal is the perfect spot to walk along and admire a variety of ducks and swans. Furthermore, Little Acre Holiday Park is near several amenities, shops and restaurants. Additionally, with close access to the M6, it is the ideal stop-off for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District in full.

Milnthorpe is a ten minute drive away and hosts a selection of supermarkets and takeaway restaurants. Also, the Crooklands Hotel serves food all day and is just a 2 minute walk over the canal from the caravan site.

The are no designated disabled access bathroom facilities. Additionally, the roads around Little Acre Holiday Park largely consist of gravel. However, the grass and roads are flat.
