The Background of Locomotion Shildon:

  • The Museum is often quieter on weekdays. Additionally, Locomotion offer Early Bird sessions once a month, at 9:15am, which allow you to explore The Museum at quieter, earlier times of the day. However, The Museum opens to all visitors at 10am. Furthermore, to reduce noise levels during the Early Bird sessions, certain video presentations and children’s rides will be deactivated.
