Lowther Holiday is an award-winning camping and holiday park near Penrith, Cumbria. Situated over 50 acres of vibrant woodland. Visitors can immerse themselves in a wildlife-filled landscape whilst only being 2 miles from the M6. The park is peaceful and runs directly alongside a bubbling stream full of trout and salmon. Visitors should also be on the lookout for the thriving red squirrel, rabbit and bird popular that live around the park.

Lowther Holiday Park hosts a range of furnished lodges and camping pods. There is also a limited number of touring hardstanding and grass pitches for caravans and tents in an accessible field. The park has its own mini-market selling a range of basic necessities and camping equipment. Furthermore, the onsite Squirrel Inn bar and restaurant offers delicious meals and entertainment throughout the year. Additionally, Lowther Holiday Park has its very own games room and children’s outdoor playground for guests enjoy.

The holiday park is a short walk into Eamont Bridge village and a 5 minute drive to historic Penrith. A woodland walk will take you to the delightful Lowther Castle and there are several other trails along the river and surrounding woodland to explore. With easy access to the M6 and A66 roads, visitors can enjoy their days at a number of other sights, including Ullswater, Aira Force Waterfall and the Yorkshire Dales. The picturesque landscape surrounds you in the beauty of the northwest and encourages relaxation in all visitors.

Accessibility:

The camping pods and holiday homes require used of a step/stairs to access. However, the tent and caravan pitching field is disabled accessible. The site offer some disabled access facilities, please contact them to learn more. Furthermore, the Lowther Holiday Park is largely level access across the grounds with a tarmac road for people to follow.
