MAIN Redcar

MAIN’s Redcar branch runs a variety of social groups and activities for autistic children, tweens and teens. The focus is on providing opportunities for individuals to develop confidence, make friends and feel included.

The following groups are available:

• Tweens and Teens – term time only, for ages 11 – 18.
• Holiday Tweens and Teens – run during school holidays, for ages 11 – 18.
• Youth Group – term time only, for ages 5 – 11.
• Holiday Youth Group – runs during school holidays, for ages 5 – 11.

The Youth Group takes place at Prior Pursglove College in Guisborough. The Tweens and Teens group alternates weekly between the college and somewhere in the local community.

Community activities may include swimming, ice-skating and go-karting; to name just a few!

Note:  These groups are commissioned by Redcar and Cleveland County Council which means that only residents of Redcar can attend.
