the three words I chose to describe mannion & co. All menu options are displayed on their chalk boards and that includes their specials. Their kitchen and delhi counter are chocker block with locally produced cheese and freshly cooked bread to buy. Their chefs are award winning. check out the weblink for more details.
I loved their Tyne and chicken sandwige. I cannot guarantee that they will have the same options on the menu when you visit them. However, the options chosen where in great preparation if a little expensive. All my guests felt that their food choices where very tasty and filling. Their deserts are highly decorated and very tasty. The seating is a light-coloured wood. The walls are whight washed and the floor is wooden. There are pictures on the walls that can become a talking point and they wait on you. Or in other words the waitreses come to your table to take your order and give you the bill when you want it. They have an outdoor courtyard seating area. They have a good lake side view and are friendly to pets.
However, if your pet or guide dog where to review manyans and company they would down grade them simply because there is not enough food left on the floor to eat. The place is clean. Furthermore, they would decide that whilst staff where friendly and attentive to owners there wasn’t enough doggy adoration with treats given. So, since their motto is “life is for living so enjoy it” I hope that you and your best friend may it be dog or man enjoy a visit at mannion & co.
In order to enter one must be able to get over a deep step. their only toilet is up steep deep steps. Highchairs are available. Although staff are not trained with those who are neurologically diverse, they are happy to help wherever they can. For example, if you need the menu reading to you, they will do so. The man is not in large print or braille.
