This is a great beach to go to if you’re wanting to explore rock pools, spot seabirds such as cormorants, kittiwakes and fulmars or view the natural limestone cliffs, sea-stacks and rock arches. Dogs are subject to restrictions.
Parking is available along the coast road (you will need to pay) but due to the steep steps leading down the cliffs to the beach it isn’t suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. However there is a lift operational, for a small donation and subject to opening times.
Marsden Grotto is a stylish bar carved into the cliff and other shops and cafes can be found a short drive away.
