What is Monk Park Farm?

Sitting in the Yorkshire countryside is Monk Park Farm, a 96-acre park and farm filled with all kinds of fun! From animals to farmyard fun, the park is a great day out for all the family. Feed your favourite farm animal or burn off some steam in the outdoor play area!

Monk Park Farm is open 7 days a week from February – October.

What is there to do?

As mentioned, Monk Park Farm has lots of fun farmyard-themed activities! Wander around the Woodland Walk which takes you all around the farm! Pay a visit to the different animals and have fun along the way!

The park also has an awesome outdoor play area that is perfect for climbing and exploring! The play area also has a giant sandpit where you can build the sandcastle of your dreams. Buckets and spades are kindly provided by the farm. The play area also has picnic tables for those wanting a snack under the sun or wanting to put their feet up.

Throughout the day the park runs a barrel ride which is a barrel of laughs! Go on a miniature safari adventure through the llama and deer park and say hello to your four-legged friends. Be aware, the barrel rides run depending on demand.

Pay a visit to the Indoor Petting Barn (open daily) to stroke a sheep or two! Depending on the time of year, you might be lucky enough to see lambs, baby goats, llamas and pigs. When possible, the park holds bottle-feeding sessions where you can bottle feed the babies. How cute!

Are you feeling peckish? Not to worry! The farm has you covered! Pop along to their café and buy yourself a tasty snack or two.
