Orton Grange Café & Gifts is located on a dairy farm just outside of Carlisle. A highly popular lunch location, the café sells a wide variety of light lunches, coffee, and afternoon tea. They are very proud of their variety of homemade quiches, pies and cakes that are very popular with customers. Established in 2003, Orton Grange Café has enjoyed a longstanding reputation for high quality, fresh food in a cosy and welcoming café barn.
Their gift shop is small but sells an excellent selection of local products. Ranging from home decorations to cards and toys, their gift is a delightful place to look around for interesting products. Attached to Orton Grange Café & Gifts is Cranstons Food Hall. Cranston are a local company who pride themselves as a high quality butchers and grocers. Many people happily peruse Cranstons after dining at Orton Grange. Also on the same site are The Loft Beauty Rooms, The Shearing Shed Hair Salon, and Carlisle Swim School.
Orton Grange has a reasonably sized car park. There is also a bus stop near to the shop to cater to visitors from Carlisle. It is located directly off the A595 by-pass that provides fast travel around the Carlisle area.
There is level access through Cranstons and into Orton Grange Café & Gifts. The gift shop has a narrow passageway but there is plenty of space in the café. Some seating is found upstairs but there are several tables on the ground floor that are wheelchair accessible.
