Palace Green Library is a free-of-charge library full of history! Within the library is the Barker Research library which is home to archives and special collections. However, for this, it is encouraged to make an appointment to make the most of it.

There is also a shop at the venue to find many different souvenirs to remember your visit.
Everyone is welcome to learn more and find out about the rich history!
Accessible toilets are located near reception on the ground floor.
A lift is available.
There is also a Durham Cathedral Bus that stops outside the library to avoid walking up the hills.
Although parking is not available it is available on request. It is best to contact the palace green security office at +44 (0)191 334 2222 to be able to get requests met.
