A beautiful oriental-themed municipal park featuring stunning grounds, lakes and boats. Voted 6th best park in the UK and winner of the Green Flag Award!
Peasholm Park is a 14-hectare park dating back to 1912. It has a beautiful system of streams and waterfalls all connected to mini bridges and oriental architecture. You’ll also find stunning gardens and boats you can ride around the lake, and maybe even see some live music on the bandstand situated in the middle of the lake!
As you walk through the park there are many paths you can choose from and many sights to see, beautiful gardens and water features and stunning flora and fauna all around. Wild geese, swans and ducks live on the lake as well as squirrels that can be seen all year round. Take a boat you can pedal yourself or catch the Swan Launch and relax. You can also visit two cafes that are open during tourist seasons, what better place to enjoy a coffee or cake with the whole family.
