Covid update: The castle and grounds are currently closed, however the castle will re-open from 29 March for local visits and can’t wait to see you! 
For the time being, you’ll still need to book in advance and tickets are available now. Our indoor areas will be closed but you’ll be able to enjoy the castle grounds as usual.
Come and learn about history in this stunning castle set in picturesque surroundings. Explore around the grounds and head up the stairs to the top for stunning views! Small educational centre located upstairs, taking you back through the ages. Picnic benches, and toilets on site also. Located very close to Richmond town centre, come pay us a visit!
Is there parking?
There is lots of parking in the surrounding areas, which may or may not be paid. There is no car park specifically for visiting the castle.
