What is Saltholme Nature Reserve?
Saltholme Nature Reserve goal is to create perfect conditions for all sorts of wildlife.
What can you see?
They are known for their large common tern and if you visit each spring you may even see baby’s. They also hold a number of of different types of birds. You can see a list on the website when you click “what you will see”. A few of the birds are listed below:
- Yellow wagtail
- Water Rail
- Peregrine Falcon
Be warned just because they are listed you may not see them just like you can see birds that are not shown on here.
