Seaton Carew Beach is a real family destination. Long, sandy beaches at the sea with shells and pebbles to explore closer to the promenade, which runs the length of the beach. To the south are vast sand dunes and in contrast as you walk north you will find rocky areas to explore rock pools.
Parking is along the coast road as you can find it, or there is a car park with a children’s play area central to the town. Public toilets are available to the south of the beach, and as you head north you will find the chippies, cafes, ice cream parlours and amusement arcades.
The town has undergone renovation recently and you will find a children’s naturally themed play park, a water park and a crazy golf. Beach Huts are available to hire for the day along the promenade.
Heading even further north you will find additional parking next to a larger fish and chip style eatery.
