Seven Stories is the National Centre for Children’s Books.

There is always a variety of activities to do, for instance,  unique exhibitions, visiting authors, engaging storytellers and fun things to do for all ages.

Also, there is a coffee shop that is accessible to all for anyone that needs a drink and a snack


  • There ifs one accessible lift in the building.
  • Disabled parking is accessible on the street that Seven Stories is located
  • You can access disabled toilets on the 2nd and 7th levels of the building.
  • Baby changing facilities are accessible on the 2nd and 7th level of the building.
  • Seven Stories is wheelchair accessible throughout the building.
  • Films displayed have subtitles for those deaf/hard of hearing.
  • Throughout the building you will see contrast markings on doors and full heighted windows.
  • Some of the galleries have low lighting.
  • Guide dogs are welcome at Seven Stories

Furthermore, do note that even though the hours say they are open 7 days a week they are actually closed on Wednesdays during term time be that as it may, Seven Stories is open every day during school holidays
