SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity, is a UK wide charity. This charity work to support the Armed Forces community, their families with practical, physical, mental health needs. This charity covers a whole host of services to help people with the following needs:

• Housing (including but not limited to residential housing and support for veterans who are homeless or in difficulty)
• Transitioning from military to civilian life
•  Women and children supported living
• Financial support
• Holidays, and respite for families with disabled children
• Access to assistance for physically disabled people
• Support with mental health needs
• Support with obtaining home furnishings and white goods
• Financial planning and support
• Benefits and welfare
