They are powered with 100% renewable electricity and 96% of their operational waste has been successfully diverted from landfill In order to reduce food waste and keep people fed they partake in fair share. Where surplus food is shared out to those who need it. Whilst looking at the beautiful countryside views one can peruse the menu either by the app or via a physical copy at the table. The décor of the place is eclectically vintage and wonderfully cosy.
The lighting is very good at the big windows. Perfect at giving a lot of sunlight to the area. There are a range of different styles of seating arrangements to suit anyone. The bar is situated straight in front of the front door. As you walk in you may see a full or partially emptied jar of dog treats. The usual rules apply neither your dog or you is allowed to bark loudly three times or you will be asked to leave. In addition, barking outside in their garden seating area whilst tolerated is not approved of. Their outdoor seating areas are very flexible as they are not bench seats but proper tables wit chairs and shading.
Both the indoor and outdoor furnishings are rather flexible. This is because you can quite easily remove a couple of chairs to wheel a wheelchair underneath. You can also remove a couple for more than one guide dog. This space being undisturbed by waiting staff members. The disabled bathroom is clean and has plenty of pull downable handrails for lifting ones self on and off the toilet seat. Both bathrooms disabled and non disabled are very well lit. Whilst the staff are not specifically trained to help those who are neurodiverse they’re happy to help whenever they can. Furthermore, they don’t have braille menus they are happy to read the menu to you. On the other hand, the app is accessible
