What can I do at The Dairy Barn?

The Dairy Barn is a lovely little Café in Crook. And it is also a perfect place to take the kids or to just go and relax with a good cup of tea! The Dairy Barn has a large menu including sandwiches, toasties and paninis and also sweet treats such as cakes and scones. You can find a cake stand at the front of the café with fresh cakes and cookies (with some gluten-free options available),  and even different flavours of ice cream are available. There’s plenty of room to sit inside, but you could also opt to sit outside where you could find a lovely children’s playground complete with swings, a slide and a photo cut out where you can get some adorable photos! There’s also a gift shop where you can get yourself a little souvenir of your trip, or even handmade paintings.

Accessibility

• The Dairy Barn is wheelchair and pushchair accessible and has a large ramp leading from the disabled parking area down to the entrance of the café. The inside of the café has all wooden flooring and is quite spacious for you to get around
• Disabled toilets, as well as baby changing facilities, are available
• The Dairy Barn has the option to be outside however it can be quite busy at times which I would keep in mind for anyone visiting that may have sensory needs. The staff were incredibly friendly and I’m sure would allow you to request sitting in one of the quieter areas of the café if possible.
• The Dairy Barn offers limited gluten-free options as well as vegetarian options and a kid’s menu.

Eric’s visit!

As you can see from some of these wonderful photos Eric took his visit to The Dairy Barn where he had the best time! Eric enjoyed a delicious scone with jam and cream and a cup of tea to wash it down and then chatted to some of the friendly staff, after all this, he played in the park and enjoyed the view and even took a silly picture in the Dairy Barn photo cut out. Overall Eric said his visit was a 10/10.
