The staff are friendly and bilingual at the Golden Pearl in Durham They are always willing to help. All the products have instructions on the boxes in English. You can buy all for your Asiatic cooking needs. This includes Thai, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese household goods here. The carpeting is a lovely light blue, and the shelves are white in colour. The store stocks cooking equipment to buy as well as humongous bags of rice. The tables are nicely spaced apart and cleaned regularly. You can order online as well. The menu for the café is situated above the counter. To order food or pay for your products you must go to the counter located in front of the entrance to the Golden Pearl.
Although the Minimart is on one floor there is a signed step-up to it. There is no accessible toilet but two regular toilets, one for men and women. All the staff members in this store are willing to aid you in any purchase you make. They will for example read the menu to you if you yourself can’t.
