Our smoky breath on that cold morning told us that we where in need of a warm beverage and warm food. The Hatch luncheonette we happened upon and it made our day that bit sweeter. In addition, the floor of The hatch itself has two entrances one for the Hatch to go, a take away and one for the luncheonette. We chose to sit in their warm and funky environment. Furthermore, the floor of the hatch is covered in black stars with a white background.
The walls were covered in hanging baskets creating this lush funky garden like experience. I enjoyed how the food portions seemed to be super sized along with the deserts. A cream cheese and salmon bagel was just what I needed to warm my body right up. You yourself may enjoy their super sized cinnamon buns or other delicious deserts to choose from. The staff are kind and attentive. They love dogs of any kind. There is both indoor and outdoor eating spaces. Furthermore there is a second floor to the building. The second floor is a more moderately decorated room. With plain wooden table chairs and flooring. The seating down stairs is a mixture of light plastic and metallic legs. You can get a unique variety of tea and coffee flavours at the |Hatch So why not come and enjoy.
Unfortunately the doorway is narrow and steps are Higley piggldey through out the building. Whilst there is no disabled toilet the staff do intend on doing their utmost to help you. For example the staff did guide me to the bathroom and help me by reading the menu out to me. There is no braille or large print menus. All dogs are welcome. Although the staff are not specifically trained with those who are neurologically diverse they do intend on doing their best to provide as best support as they can. The menu can also be found online.
