The Millennium is a Bangladeshi restaurant. The Restaurant has a cosy almost homely atmosphere with is blue and gold contemporary Décor. Mohammed the owner of the restaurant has been known to host charitable meals on occasion. Look at their website for more details. Thursdays and Sundays is their best nights as that is when they do their special offers. In addition, lighting is dark and ambient. The tables themselves are immaculately dressed in white and Blue. They have sparkling clean cutlery and crockery. The food is Bangladeshi and comforting. This restaurant also does takeaways. So, if you fancy a comfortable night in with your favourite Indian cuisine this is the place to go.

Sometimes it’s the kindness of staff that makes a place more accessible. Whilst there is no braille menu, they are happy to read the menu out to me. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly as both the entrance and the restaurant itself is level. however, there are two doors to walk through both of them open towards you, which can be a struggle. The doors are just wide enough to allow a wheelchair through. Again, although the staff are not specifically trained to help those who are neurodiverse, with autism or dementia they are keen to emphasise that they would help in any way possible.
