Located near the centre of Carlisle, The Spider & Fly is near several bus transport links and there is a small paid and display car park across the road. There is also limited street parking in the surrounding residential area. Carlisle train station is approximately a 20 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the venue is on a main road so drop-offs are not advised.
There are a couple steps to the back of the restaurant to more seating but there is outdoor seating with level access and some initially through the door.
Lighting in the bar and kitchen is low but still bright enough to eat.
The menu caters to vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets. Staff will cater to allergies where they can.
