Tweddle Farm

Take part in farmyard fun at Tweddle Farm! Filled with fun for all the family, the farm has a range of activities. Take a wander around the farm and look at the amazing animals or let off some steam in the play areas! If you’re feeling peckish, grab a bite to eat at their café or settle down for a picnic! Tweddle Farm is the perfect place for a family day out.

Bookings

What animals does Tweddle Farm have?

The farm has a number of animals, from domestic critters to exotic creatures!

Some of the animals include:

• Sheep
• Cows
• Wallabies (you can walk through their enclosure!)
• Blue Macaws
• Rabbits
• Llamas and alpacas
• Degus
• Fallow deer and more!

Want to feed a farmyard friend? Buy some animal feed for your walk around the farm! Buy animal feed when booking tickets or upon entry. Please check enclosures to ensure that those animals can be fed. To stroke a barnyard buddy, visit the Baby Barn petting center, or to cuddle a cute critter visit the Small Animal Barn.

Don’t forget to wash your hands between feeding and handling animals. Cleaning stations are provided across the Farm.

Activities at Tweddle Farm

As mentioned, Tweddle Farm has a variety of fun-packed activities! You can take part in the different activities on your walk around the farm, or burn off some steam in a nearby play area! Animal enclosures can often be found close by to the different activities and play areas!

Some of the activities on offer:

• Stroke some furry friends in the ‘Small Animals Petting Area’. Lots of cute and cuddly creatures can be found here!
• The ‘Baby Barn’ is just across from the petting area. Here, there are sheep, chickens and pigs that can be fed and stroked.
• Race your friends on the indoor go-karts or have a  ride along in a tractor!
• An Under 5’s indoor play area

Accessibility

Many of the paths leading to enclosures and activities at the farm are suitable for wheelchair and pushchair uses. However, please note that some paths are quite stony which some may struggle with.  For those wanting to sit down, benches are dotted about the farm. However, not all of these benches are between enclosures and some walks between enclosures are quite long. Another great feature about Tweddle Farm is that it also has free parking! Disabled parking is also available close to the farm entrance.
