Located between Kendal and Windermere, this camping and caravanning site is in the most ideal location for people seeking to explore popular tourist spots in the Lake District. Fully equipped with a range of tent and caravan pitches, as well as camping pods and fully furnished safari tents, there is plenty of space for people to relax and unwind. Grass and hardstanding pitches are available, many of these pitches have electric hook-ups. Additionally, Windermere Camping and Caravanning Club has a shop selling basic necessities and toilet/bathroom facilities on site. Visitors can enjoy full internet access in this picturesque location. There is a TV room for visitors to occupy. Similarly, there are plenty of walks and trails nearby to explore and a children’s playground outside.
The village of Staveley is a short walk away. Here, visitors can explore a selection of highly rated cafés and restaurants. There is also an excellent food-serving pub. The nearby town of Kendal has many tourist attractions and museums for visitors to enjoy. Taking a trip down the road will take visitors to Bowness-on-Windermere. There are many water sports and boating opportunities to be had on the lake as well as sights such as The World of Beatrix Potter to be explored in the town centre.

The pitches and roads are made up of a mix of tarmac or gravel. The rest of Windermere Camping and Caravanning Club is level grass land. Please be aware the grass can become slippery when wet. There are some slopes but the bulk of the grass areas are easy access. Contact the site for further information.
