Situated along the Yorkshire coast, Withernsea Beach is a sand and shingle beach that runs on for miles on end in either direction.
With vast sandy beach and glistening granite stones, Withernsea is great for family fun and walking. Additionally, the newly developed Pier Towers and promenade, which back the beach, feature numerous cafes, pubs and exhibitions where you can learn about Withernsea’s maritime history.
With so much on offer, Withernsea Beach is great for all ages. Come along and enjoy the sunshine and be sure to try the ice cream from one of the many vendors.
Dogs are not permitted at Withernsea Beach between 1st May and 30th September. However, they are permitted at the beach during the rest of the year. Though, dogs are restricted to the left side of the castle wall.
There is a public car park next to the beach at the end of Pier Road (HU19 2HH). You need to buy a ticket to park here and all day tickets are available.
