How did I get into Paid Employment with a Learning Disabilities and Autism
My Introduction By Martyn Walton With Durham Enable and Eric Knows
- I have got a Learning Disability Called Autism And I’m from Coundon Near Bishop Auckland in County Durham
- I have Struggled of me getting into paid Employment Because of my Learning Disability and Autism
- Furthermore That i did Dj at The Pug And Parrot Pub Volunteering with them And did some College Course at Bishop Auckland College And i have Did some Volunteer with them And in 2020 I have meeting a Job coach from Durham Enable called Julie Patterson Furthermore She Has Helped me finding a Job And i Did a Level 2 Barista Course and Mental Health Awareness Course at Optimum Skills Limited in Darlington Furthermore that i did some Volunteer work with Bridge Creative Including Inclusion Nightclub And Also Christmas Town and i Also Became attending The Employment Workshop on a Thursday morning with Bridge Creative And Durham Enable And i Went to The Job interview At Eric Knows and i Got The Job with Eric Knows Also I Like working alongside my work colleagues like Aiden Ella Dean Alex Joshua Jonathan Kelvin And all The in work Support workers from Bridge Creative and Access to work with All The Support that i needed Including The Equipment And The Transport from into And from work Furthermore. Besides that I also Attended The Cookery Class At Bullion Hall In Chester Le Street with Dean on a Tuesday afternoon we made Cheese Swirls Roles and Rice Crispy Cakes And Also Furthermore Besides we Also made Cottage Pie Furthermore Also that i attend The friendship Friday group with Bridge Creative Furthermore Besides that i also a member of The Durham Enable forum with Ben Newton And Julia Smith Stuart and Alex And Charlotte
